Club Histories - Minor Leagues
This section covers minor league football clubs. This means all clubs playing in leagues at least one level below the senior competitions in the states and territories. Club histories and souvenir booklets comprise most of this material. Regional and league histories which cover the history of multiple clubs and the general development of football in particular districts have been included in the 'History' section.

Porter, Dennis John & Victorian Public Service Football Association, A History of the Victorian Public Service Football Association: 1964-1983, VPSFA: [Melbourne, Vic.], 1991.
Despite the title, this work is really a compilation of historical items relating to the Public Works Department Football Club (PWDFC), one of the dominant clubs in the Public Service Football Association competition. The cover of the book adds to the confusion because it shows a photo of a 1913 Public Service Football Association team, which implies that something of the early history of this competition may be referred to in the text. Unfortunately this is not the case. The book is mainly a compilation of yearly summaries of PWDFC's record in the Public Service competition between 1964 and 1983, with profiles of every player to represent the club in that era. Summaries of performances by other teams playing against PWDFC are also included. There is a short history of the Albert Park Sports and Recreation Reserve, the venue for many Public Service competition matches. Contains a name index, but pictures reproduced throughout this volume are of poor quality. TH.

TH.
